Internship Flight Safety Data Engineer department (Safety Data & Performance Measurement Team)

Aufgaben:

Our department is responsible for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of flight safety as well as compliance monitoring management. In addition, we coordinate safety activities at Group level.
Support in the further development of the data architecture based on Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Development, monitoring and operation of cloud-based ETL data pipelines
Provision of data for data analysts and data scientists
Ensuring compliance with code standards
Documentation of data pipelines and processes

Qualifikationen:

At the time of the internship at least in the 4th semester of computer science, mathematics, information systems or comparable.
Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
Basic knowledge of ETL processes
Good programming skills in SQL, Python, knowledge of C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML an advantage
Ideally experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks
Confident handling of Git
Fluent in German or English
